Sean Rourke was raised by magicians on the mean streets of Omaha Nebraska.  Surrounded by jugglers, puppeteers, and balloon artists, it was no surprise to his parents when he decided to move to LA and get into the movie business.

Stretching back to 1997, Sean’s career began in VFX editorial working on films such as Road to Perdition, Ocean’s Eleven, and Freddy vs. Jason. Then in 2014, Sean joined The Third Floor as a freelancer on Max Steel and has since become Head of Editorial. At The Third Floor, he’s edited previs on tons of movies, TV series, and games including Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Loki, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Sean went to film school at the College of Santa Fe, which is now lost beneath the sands of New Mexico. He is also a Comic-Con regular, teaching “Comic-Con Film School” every year in San Diego. He drinks iced tea, loves vampires, and has a dog that’s just a little too smart. And if he’s being honest, he might have a bit of a chocolate chip cookie habit.
