Ian has over 20 years of experience in the industry, working on small independent movies to huge franchise blockbusters. His time in the cutting rooms has given him a deep understanding of storytelling and editing techniques. He has worked with directors such as Paul Greengrass, Matthew Vaughn, and Guillermo Del Toro and learnt his craft from notable editors such as Lee Smith (Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception), and Chris Rouse (Bourne, United 93).

Since joining THE THIRD FLOOR he has cut previs for over a dozen movies including Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi, Beauty & The Beast and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
