Marking work on its 11th Marvel film released since 2010, THE THIRD FLOOR is excited to have created the previs, postvis and techvis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.  James Baker, who earlier led THE THIRD FLOOR’s previs, techvis and postvis on Guardians of the Galaxy, headed a visualization team that collaborated closely with director James Gunn as well as key contributors in visual effects, cinematography, editorial and art direction.

Key scenes across the movie — from opening credits to the Space Chase sequence to the final battle, were extensively visualized to help map the action and plan filming and stunts from a technical point of view.  Previs also aided the process of exploring and developing character moments for Rocket and Baby Groot.
