Diving into the surreal world of Severance Season 2 – TTF provided previs and techvis for this thrilling, iconic opening scene, working with a bolt rig to help map out precise movements. Thrilled to help bring this vision to life!

Check out the newest update of Cyclops, now available from the Apple App Store including impressive new features and lots of improvements and fixes! Here are some highlights:

Image Contsraints
Now you can arrange and manipulate 3D assets live, via a constraint to a physical image. As you move a printout of that specific image in the real-world, your constrained 3D assets will follow along inside Cyclops! You could even use this approach to maintain digital characters’ eyelines, and multiple assets can be constrained to different images at the same time.

Image Anchors
Physical printed images can also be used to save & load the relationship between your real set or location and your CG set top-up. Use the Image to store the lineup and then load it when you are ready to have your CG extension in the correct place in the real-world.

Top Camera
Navigate your large scenes with a Top Camera View (aka Plan View). The Top Camera works as a Picture-in-Picture view on-top of your main viewport. Choose between perspective and orthographic cameras. Adjust size, zoom, height, rotation, and more.

Asset Constraints
Cyclops assets can also be constrained to other assets or the viewport. All constraints have a built-in offset. Choose between a Parent Constraint or an Aim Constraint and simply select which axes to constrain.

UI Improvements for iPhone
We’ve made lots of improvements to the UI scaling and fitting when using Cyclops on an iPhone. With particular improvements to the Media Review panel. Cyclops is now easier and more comfortable to use on smaller screens.
