THE THIRD FLOOR provided previs, techvis and animatic editorial for Rampage (Warner Bros.). Previs modelers and animators, led by previs supervisors Todd Constantine and Patrick Smith, worked with director Brad Peyton, Visual Effects Supervisor Colin Strause and Visual Effects Producer Pablo Molles to visualize 14 visual effects sequences — from the film’s beginning to its ending shot.

The previs was used to flesh out story and pacing, also helping the film and visual effects team visualize interactions between live actors, CG characters and environments, and explore creative ways to cover the action. THE THIRD FLOOR also worked with production to create technical schematics to plan set builds, shooting distances, size and scale of animals and simulated zero gravity shots.
